How to set your background in Google Meet:
  1. Click Generate the Background and the PNG downloads automatically.
  2. Open Google Meet and start or join any meeting.
  3. Click the three-dot menu … then select Apply visual effects.
  4. Under Backgrounds, click + and upload the PNG (images) or MP4 (video). If you don't see the video file, change what files are shown (Show Options → Show All File Types). Once uploaded, Meet will remember your background selection for future meetings.

🪞 Mirror effect: Your own preview will show the background flipped horizontally. This is normal, other participants will see it the correct way around.
