What we believe, why we exist, and where we're headed.
To deliver platforms right the first time, to those who can't afford to get it wrong.
"To deliver platforms right the first time" describes how we work, not a goal on its own. Years of hands-on work with Strapi, Payload, and Next.js taught us where the dead ends are, so our clients don't have to find them the hard way. We remove that risk by getting it right from the start.
"To those who can't afford to get it wrong" says who this is for, and why it matters to us: companies and teams where a mistake costs real money, time, or credibility. A CTO who owns delivery and security. A marketing team that needs to edit and ship content without waiting on developers. A business where downtime means lost revenue. We don't name developers, CTOs, or marketing separately on purpose. The risk of getting it wrong is what ties them together. This is what we're built for: platforms that carry real weight, for teams who need them to hold.
We help enterprise teams build on Strapi, Payload, and Next.js at a level that amazes even their creators.
"Enterprise teams" → Who we build for. We say "teams," not "organizations," because real people sit behind every big tech decision: the marketing lead, the CTO, the engineer who'll run this platform for years to come. "Enterprise" sets the scale we work at: complex, multi-brand platforms built for real business impact.
"Build on" → We build with these platforms, and we actively help make them better, with templates and plugins flowing straight back into the Strapi and Payload ecosystems. When we say "build on," we mean it in both directions. We build on what they've made, and we help build what comes next.
"Strapi, Payload and Next.js" → Our core technologies. Not a broad stack we stretch to cover everything. Going deep on three technologies means fewer surprises, faster delivery, and expertise you can actually feel — and it's specific enough that teams looking for exactly this stack know immediately: this is what we do.
"At a level that amazes even their creators" → This sets the bar we hold ourselves to. It's what every client gets: work sharp enough that the people who wrote the framework would call it exceptional. Every engineer here at Notum can say this line out loud and mean it.
Small enough to know everyone's name, experienced enough to pass the mastery on.
Every senior person here can mentor, not just execute. Every project runs through more than one person's hands, so you're never depending on a single person to keep things running. That same mastery gets passed on to our clients' teams too, not kept in-house.
Strapi, Payload, and Next.js, delivered to impress even their creators.
"Strapi, Payload, and Next.js" → This is what we do, said plainly.
"Delivered" → Not built, not used, delivered. It's the client who gets the outcome, and it avoids implying we authored the platforms themselves.
"To impress even their creators" → Same bar as the Mission, compressed into four words. The tagline is the Mission's echo, not a separate idea.
Enable a cumulative total of 500 million users well served by platforms we've built for clients by the end of 2030.
"Cumulative total" → Not a snapshot metric — it adds up every user, every platform, every year, so past work keeps counting.
"Well served" → Not just "reached." The goal is quality of experience, not raw traffic.
"By platforms we've built for clients" → Ties the number directly back to our work, not the client's broader business.
"By the end of 2030" → A real deadline, not an open-ended ambition — gives the number a finish line to hit.
"Users, not projects or revenue" → We chose scale of impact over volume. It's a measure of impact, not activity — we'd rather build fewer platforms that genuinely serve people well than rack up a higher project count.
